The San Diego Chargers are a team based in San Diego, California. Originally named the Los Angeles Chargers, the club began play in 1960 as a charter member of the American Football League. After spending its first season in Los Angeles, the club moved to San Diego. The Chargers play their home games at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, California, and wear jerseys of navy blue, gold, and white. They won one AFL title in 1963 before joining the NFL as part of the AFL-NFL Merger.

The Bolts fans have come back thanks to the team's 12-4 record and playoff appearance in 2004, the first time the Chargers qualified for the post-season since 1995. The Chargers have ... leased 97 of the 113 suites at Qualcomm Stadium, 24 more than last year. Team owner and real estate mogul Alex Spanos offered to pay for a new $400 million stadium in exchange for the development rights for the surrounding 166 acres, but has been rebuffed by taxpayers.

The San Diego Chargers looked like a team destined to make it to the Super Bowl this season... fell short. The Chargers dominated every team they played during the season while having a punishing defense, and the most efficient running game. LaDainian Tomlinson broke all kind of NFL rushing records this past season, and was named the NFL MVP. A team of this caliber has no excuse for not making it past the AFC Divisional playoffs. The Chargers had the highest scoring offense in the NFL, averaging 30.75 points per game. Can the San Diego Chargers bounce back this season and dominate throughout the regular season, and hopefully dominate throughout the playoffs as well?

Despite failing to return to the playoffs during the 2005-2006 season, San Diego Chargers tickets appear to be just a few steps away from finally evolving into one of the NFL’s premier ticket buys. Head coach Marty Schottenheimer’s squad includes last year’s Comeback Player of theYear, quarterback Drew Brees, and running back LaDanian Tomlinson. However, the offensive production fell just short in most of their losses as a number of the Chargers’ defeats were decided by a field goal or less. After posting winning records in back-to-back seasons, the Chargers will spend the off-season searching for the final component to put them near the top of the AFC.

LaDainian Tomlinson ran in 2 TDs and threw for one to give San Diego its third straight comeback win. He now has 21 rushing touchdowns on the year and brought his career QB record to 7 completions out of 10 attempts with 6 touchdowns. Philip Rivers on the other hand struggled completing 14 of 31 passes and throwing for only a 133 yds with no TDs and 1 interception. The Chargers swept the Raiders and have now won 7 straight from Oakland. The scoring started with the Raiders making it 7-0 after a 1-yd pass from Aaron Brooks to Reshard Lee. The Chargers answered back when Antonio Cromartie returned the ensueing kick 91-yds which setup a 2-yd run by LT to tie the score at 7-7 going into the half.
