Samara metro was open on December, 25, 1987. The first part consists of four stations (Yungorodok, Kirovskaya, Pobeda, Bezymyanka) and electrodepot. Samara is industrial town, it's plants and factorys are primarily situated in Bezymjanka district, while most of workers lived in central districts. The subway building was aimed on transportation acceleration of workers to the places of work and, secondary, to escape the tangles on highways. Samara's spirit lives on. Eventually a camping resort is built on the site, with a log cabin built over the well. One day, a group of teenagers rent the cabin, and attempt to record a football game on the cabin's VCR.
