Kinston, NC—The Salem Avalanche, Class A-Advanced affiliate of the Houston Astros, mustered just five hits Sunday at Grainger Stadium as the Kinston Inidians took the deciding game of the three-day set by the score of 8-0. The K-Tribe scored in six of its eight at bats.

Prior to joining the Redfish, Tricarico worked as a Sales Associate for the Salem Avalanche (Class A-Advanced). During the summer of 2005, Steven ... doubled as the On-Field Emcee for the Avalanche. During his time in Salem, he helped the club establish an all-time attendance record of more than 250,000 fans in one season. A graduate of Radford University, Tricarico continues to set and achieve high goals for himself and is looking forward to his new role.
