SALT LAKE CITY - The General Young Women meeting of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the church's Conference Center. The meeting will be broadcast via satellite to churches around the world with satellite equipment.Young women, their mothers and their leaders will have an opportunity to hear messages from a member of the church's first presidency and the Young Women general presidency. Those scheduled to be in attendance include President Gordon B. Hinckley, president of the LDS Church; and the Young Women's general presidency, Susan W. Tanner, Julie B. Beck and Elaine S. Dalton.This year's theme is "Let virtue garnish thy thoughts unceasingly; then shall thy confidence wax strong in the presence of God."
