Sailor Moon: Series
built 115 days ago
Sailor Moon IS one of the better series to come out of Japan in the last decade. It truly deserves its popularity. It appeals on such a wide level that a family can sit down to watch the show, and all can find something to enjoy in it. Although the music in the North American dub is flat, unoriginal, and basically standard kiddie fare (read HOKEY), and the cringeworthy "Sailor Says" segments seem to be conjured out from nowhere to pass the show off as educational, it IS educational, but through the interactions between the characters rather than a 30-second blurb about crossing the street without looking. At its heart, Sailormoon is the story of a girl striving for the balance between duty and life itself. But it loses itself in the process. The real tragedy of Usagi is that, quite possibly, her fans love her too much.

Sailor Moon panel held at Anime Boston draws good turnout. Visitors treated to footage of the dubtitle project, and some Seramyu. There was ... a great deal of cosplayers at the convention including some aligned with FMA's Roy Mustang.

Numerous Sailor Moon console and arcade games were released in Japan, all based on the anime series. They were primarily made by Bandai and a Japanese game company called Angel, with some being produced by Banpresto.[16] The early games were side-scrolling fighters, whereas the later ones were unique puzzle games, or versus fighting games. Another Story was a turn-based role-playing game.

Sailor Chibi Moon (Chibiusa) appears in an episode just in time, and she works with the Guardian Senshi and Sailor Moon for the rest of the series. Eudial grows increasingly frustrated and eventually programs a computer to find the owners of the Talismans, and discovers they are Haruka and Michiru. Eudial issues a challenge to Uranus and Neptune, inviting them to stop her from taking the Talismans. As Uranus and Neptune don't know that they themselves are the Talisman holders, they fall into her trap. However, Uranus takes Usagi's transformation brooch before leaving to prevent Usagi from getting in the way. On the island, Eudial extracts Neptune's pure heart with her gun, which turns into a mirror.
