Now, the defeat of Malachite came when he confronts Sailor Moon and the Sailor Scouts. Malachite orginally wanted to trap somewhere in time. Instead, the Crescent Moon Wand took control and transported them into a time and place on the Moon. (In the American Version, they were taken into the past by 1000 years - this is stated on the back of the DIC produced VHS for the episode titled "The Past Returns") It is at this moment, their pasts become revealed. Once the Sailor Scouts learned of their past, they are transported right back to Malachite. With their newfound knowledge of the sacrafice made on the moon, Sailor Moon refuses to lose to Malachite.

Popeye the Sailor Moon – Easily the least known of the entire Sailor Scouts, especially when he uses his performance enhancing drug known as "Spinach". He is so strong he was once seen pushing a locomotive backwards, and he was pushing it so fast his legs were represented as giant rings of fire. Add that to the fact that when he flexes his biceps you can see engines in them, and that is one tough sailor. (Using his "Spinach Crisis Power" can transform into Popeye the Sailor Moon)

When they discover that they were betrayed by the Dark Moon Circus, they decided to help the Sailor Scouts free Pegasus. Afterwards, they lived in Earth as normal girls. In the Manga for Sailor Stars, they are the Amazon Sailor Scouts: Sailor Vesta, Sailor Juno, Sailor Pallas, Sailor Ceres.
