It has now expanded so the British team includes players from throughout Europe. It is essentially a bragging rights match that takes place every two years. While the sight of the tournament changes every two years from one side of the Atlantic to the other, the U.S. has consistently won the event. It has captured 25 of the possible 33 Ryder Cup Crowns.
