Lost Highway has issued a statement saying Ryan Adams will ... release a box-set later in 2007 comprised of live tracks, the unreleased albums 48 Hours and The Suicide Handbook and cuts not included on Easy Tiger.[13]. In Q Magazine, September 2007 issue, Adams claimed the album's title would be 20:20.

All of Ryan's music isn't Grammy material, obviously, and some of it is better than other parts of it, but if you're gonna complain, where are YOUR albums? What have you put out that's better? It's easy to complain about someone ELSE's work that they pour themselves into and have the balls to put out there for the world to see. You don't want to be part of the solution, you want to be part of the vomit that's part of the problem. The slime that loves to be a "music snob" themselves, as you put it. You're a fraud. You ought to be ashamed of yourself.
Easy Tiger sees Ryan Adams at his most comfortable and confident. Gone are the wild streaks attempting artistic glory and instead Adams on Easy Tiger is content simply to release a bunch of good alt-country. The problem is that the record lacks any cohesion or underlying purpose therefore suffers from the very simplicity that Adams appears to be going fo. As a result the collection doesn't offer up thing as spine tingling as his Wonderwall cover on Love is Hell or Meadowlake Street on Cold Roses. Everything on Easy Tiger is nice, too nice to be great.

Easy Tiger is another in a line of fine records for Ryan Adams. One more notch in a row of decent, respectable records. This one does not illicit a strong response either good or bad. Maybe that is the problem with Ryan Adams. He is drearily consistent.

It's been a reasonably quiet year for Ryan Adams. The man who thinks nothing of releasing three albums per year only has the Easy Tiger album to his name so far in 2007.
