Russell Crowe: Beautiful Mind
built 232 days ago
Russell Crowe is the most dedicated, meticulous and talented actor to come along a a VERY long time. He demands more of himself than anyone else. He puts all the other actors to shame! As for him being an all around nice guy, yes! If you have a mind not filled by greedy and deceitful media scum, you’d find that Russell is a very nice person who cares a great deal about people and is extremely generous.

Crowe followed up A Beautiful Mind in 2003 by taking to the high-seas in the period-adventure Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World. A hit at the box-office, the film ... recieved rave reviews and a number of Oscar nods, including one for Best Picture. His career momentum higher than ever, Crowe next starred in 2005's Depression-era boxing drama Cinderella Man. Reteaming him with A Beautiful Mind's director Ron Howard, the picture garnered Crowe more accolades from critics, and had people talking about another Oscar for the actor. While the Oscar nominations didn't end up including his name, he soon followed up his performance with another dramatic role in Ridley Scott's A Good Year. ~ Sandra Brennan, All Movie Guide

[I]t was with some trepidation that Steve Kroft sat down with Crowe to discuss his life, his career and his reputation as one of Hollywood’s bad boys. He doesn’t do television interviews that often and when he does he speaks his mind, even if it gets him in trouble.
