Rush Limbaugh: Comments
built 220 days ago
The Rush Limbaugh sex tourism meme is really getting around—and that’s a good thing! Turnabout is most certainly fair play. Mike Stark even got to mention it to Rush’s face—see his Daily Kos diary on the subject—I provide a transcript of the call in the comments.
Rush Limbaugh is who he is, and ESPN should have known that. ESPN hired a loose cannon who, on top of being a blowhard, was ... a pill-popper. Limbaugh did nothing but be himself and his comments about Donovan McNabb were idiotic. However, the man had a forum to express his opinion, and ESPN gave it to him.

Rush Limbaugh wouldn't have commented on GW at all, if hadn't have become severely partisan issue. And how did a threat to the future of the Earth turn into a severely partisan issue?

Limbaugh spokesman Tony Knight said the commentator signed the agreement Thursday, and that it called for him to enter the not guilty plea. "It's not in the system moving toward trial. It was all a formality. It's a concluded deal," Knight said.

Limbaugh's continued refusal to drop the matter as more commentators become aware of his stunningly boorish remarks has inevitably led some of these commentators to conclude that Limbaugh is mentally defective. Who but an absolute moron would attack a Parkinson's sufferer for displaying impaired muscle function?

Some groups and individuals have questioned Limbaugh's accuracy. The July/August 1994 issue of Extra!, a publication of the progressive group Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting (FAIR), alleges 50 different inaccuracies and distortions in Limbaugh's commentary.[62][63] Others have since joined FAIR in questioning Limbaugh's facts. Al Franken, a self-described "liberal infotainer",[64] wrote a satirical book (Rush Limbaugh is a Big Fat Idiot and Other Observations) in which he questioned Limbaugh's accuracy.[65] Media Matters for America, a self-described "Web-based, not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) progressive research and information center dedicated to comprehensively monitoring, analyzing, and correcting conservative misinformation in the U.S. media" has ... been critical.[66]
