One need ... keep in mind that Murdoch does not have to be a member of Saddleback for Warren to be his pastor. It is also clear that Warren believes this as well from his repeated testimony that he is pastor to Rupert Murdoch. But Murdoch is openly committing transgressions that are right now bringing shame to the Name of Jesus Christ. And as Warren himself has said, people like Murdoch have to be held to a greater “public accountability” because of “their visibility.”

A few days later Murdoch told an audience of business people attending a Milken Institute business conference of his concerns about immigration in Europe. "The Muslim populations in France and Germany are much bigger proportionately to what they are in this country [the US] and they have made a very bad job of assimilating them," he said. According to the report he said that in the US most of the Muslime population had been assimilated though there were "pockets of trouble here and there".

There are people in this building that go home and log on for a challenge and get an answer from Copenhagen, and they start playing with these people -- then they have a little side chat with them about how many points they've got or the weather or whatever, and that's got to lead a long way to international understanding.
