Rupert Grint: Driving Lessons
built 293 days ago
Like Radcliffe, Grint took the opportunity between "The Goblet of Fire" and "The Order of the Phoenix" to get his feet wet with other projects. But while Radcliffe went the high-profile route with the sensually-charged stage play "Equus," Grint kept things a bit more under the radar with the independent comedy-drama "Driving Lessons," where he starred, ironically, opposite his "Potter" movie mom, Julie Walters.
If that made him nervous, Grint would never be able to do the nude scene his co-star Daniel Radcliffe did in a London play. For the meantime, Grint will stick to driving his ice cream truck.
Rupert Grint Biography Marking his first foray from the comic-goofball-sidekick roles, Rupert will star in the coming of age story Driving Lessons with Laura Linney and Julie Walters, which is set for release in 2006. Filming took place from January 2005.

Rupert Grint in "Driving Lessons" Grint managed to stop the car before it collided with the crew ("It was pretty close," he admitted). After that, Grint didn't do quite as much driving. Luckily for him, the "driving lessons" were more of a metaphor for his character coming into his own and involved more females than Fords.

In July 2004, Grint finished Richard Hale School, taking his GCSE examinations. Just like his character in "Driving Lessons" When not working, he enjoys learning to ride the unicycle, drawing/sketching, watching Leeds United and playing golf.

Jim Carrey adopted Grint out of Warner Brothers when he was close to eighteen, the panic ensuing ending in Grint starring in the ill-titled Porno Lessons. In an attempt to rectify the mistake, Doctor Who travelled back in time, but instead ended up killing Grint three years before his birth by dildo.
