Rune: Runes
built 280 days ago
(Conan the Savage#4/1) - Twenty years after his first encounter with Rune, Conan was on his tenth year of his reign as king of Aquilonia. Members of the Brotherhood of the Spider sent assassins to attack him and his queen Zenobia in their bedchamber. He slew the assassins, then directed some soldiers (including Hadrius, Decurion, and Glachus) to the Minas H'Rath-Tower of the Brotherhood of the Spider.

(Conan vs Rune#1 (fb)) - Rune (wearing a suit of black battle armor) fell to Earth-616 during the Hyborian Age in Turan, in the dunes beyond Agrapur. He seemed to have been weakened due to a recent battle. A bedouin encampment found him and nursed him back to health. For 100 days he recovered, and soon the bedouins came to see him as a god. However, he suddenly bit the head off and fed on a young female worshipper, Issa, and he then started preying on the Turanians.

Rune Haako's mask was lost shortly after The Phantom Menace finished filming. The production crew gave Daultay Dofine's mask to David Healey instead, and for a time it was thought that this "new" Neimoidian would become a separate character, and he was given the name Gilramos Libkath, after Gillian Libbert and Kathryn Ramos.[14] However, despite being called Gilramos Libkath in Attack of the Clones: The Visual Dictionary[15] and being credited as Lott Dod in the credits of the movie,[3] the official LFL explanation, as stated by Leland Chee, is that it is in fact Haako,[14] despite his different appearance and much deeper voice than in The Phantom Menace[2] and Revenge of the Sith.[5] Star Wars: The Complete Visual Dictionary ... establishes Haako being at Geonosis, not Libkath.[16] However, this did not stop Libkath from being established as a different character that looks and dresses similar to Haako in Attack of the Clones.[3] To add to the confusion, the official site's Databank claims that Haako appears in only Episodes I and III, supporting the Libkath theory.[11]
