Many of the sketches were original material, although Bill Cosby, Roseanne, Steve Urkel, Ross Perot, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush were impersonated by Kenan Thompson, Kel Mitchell, Angelique Bates, Johnson, Gabriel Iglesias, and an adult, respectively. The humor was very pre-teen-oriented, such as Josh Server eating his own dandruff, or appearing on stage wearing only his underwear, or a cereal called Lucky Germs or Fruit Poots. From Season 7 onward, the humor was geared more toward younger viewers than the first six seasons.

Ross Perot has a knack for identifying those issues that are important to voters. Just a week after congressional leaders said that Medicare reform would be the biggest policy issue this fall, his book on Medicare hit the stands. Intensive Care is a book about the crisis facing Medicare and Medicaid, the federal and federal/state health insurance programs for the elderly and poor.

On June 27, Ross Perot founded EDS by incorporating the company with the state of Texas for $1,000. He chose Electronic Data Systems from potential names he scribbled on a pledge envelope during a service at Highland Park Presbyterian Church in Dallas. Soon after, EDS signed an agreement to buy unused time on Southwestern Life Insurance’s IBM 7070 mainframe computer. Two months and 78 sales calls later, Collins Radio in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, became EDS’ first customer. The company flew computer tapes and data to Dallas for processing. EDS’ first employees, Betty Taylor and Tom Marquez, worked on the account.

Once again millionaire Ross Perot threw his hat into the ring, this time with his newly created Reform Party. However, because of his eccentricities during the years following his 1992 run, many had grown disenchanted with him. During one memorable episode on CNN's Larry King Live, Perot, who hadn't announced whether he was going to run again or not, was asked about a potential rival who had announced they would seek the Reform party candidacy. Perot shocked Mr. King by announcing he himself was already running for president, had been for months, and didn't understand why noone knew! Many in the new party saw this as petty jealousy on Perot's part and the party split into two groups: those who were Perot supporters and those who wanted a viable new third party and not just a forum for Perot. Perot did win the nomination, but critics said it was because his people created rules at the convention which favored his election.

Ross Perot was born in 1930 in Texarkana, Texas. He started his working life early at the age of 7 and held a number of positions from selling garden seeds to bronco busting. He ... joined the Eagle Scouts, which he credited as being a critical life changing experience. At 12, he wanted to have his own paper route but the local paper did not have any openings. He convinced the manager that he would open a new route in one of the most dangerous parts of town in return for a higher commission rate. The manager agreed and Perot delivered the papers by horseback to avoid dangerous people.
