[T]here are the outer characters, like Laurie Metcalf who plays Jackie, Roseanne's sister and a continual thorn in Dan's side. And in these early episodes you ... get to see George Clooney boss Roseanne around and romance Jackie a bit as a character called Booker. He's still Clooney even in this early glimpse at his career, although he made a wise move later on by cropping that big hair that'd make Johnny Bravo proud.
