Orlando, knowing that Rosalind is somewhere in the forest, wanders through the forest hanging love verses to Rosalind upon the branches of trees. Rosalind finds the verses, and, pretending to be a male (Ganymede), she talks at length with Orlando about his true love, Rosalind. As Ganymede, she offers to pose as Rosalind and to allow Orlando to practice his wooing with her. Meanwhile, Touchstone is planning his own romance with Audrey (a sheepherder), though a commoner named William ... seeks Audrey until Touchstone scares him off. "Ganymede" witnesses the love affair of Phebe and Silvius, two shepherds; Phebe treats Silvius coldly and "Ganymede" chides her for it, but Phebe instantly falls in love with "Ganymede", thinking Rosalind is a he. After "Ganymede" leaves, Phebe decides that she will write a love letter to "him" and have Silvius deliver it.
Rosalind is a believer in using gifts and talents to benefit others. Her work annually raises large funds for organizations she supports. Teaching annually at notable art schools is a part of sharing her gifts as well as her personal growth.
Rosalind has radiating arcs that are reminiscent of peacock tail designs. It's a scarce pattern found in several sizes of bowls, rare 9 inch plates, two sizes of compotes and, in 2002, the discovery of the first chop plate (in marigold). The pattern was ... used as the interior of Millersburg's Dolphins compotes. The compotes above are the 9-inch jelly compotes. Beware of the contemporary Fenton low compote, Drape and Tie, which has an almost identical pattern, being offered as Rosalind.

Rosalind married Hal Cook in 1970. When she was pregnant with the first of their three children she became a sculpture student. Rosalind describes this study as "the 'ah ha' of her life." Sculpting was a hobby that began to grow along with the children. As the children grew to need her less and less, she sculpted more and more. She began concentrated sculpting studies in the 1980s and knew this was a calling on her life.
Rosalind Hudson - Portrait of a Woman with Apricot Rosalind originally worked in magazine publishing before taking a Visual Arts Degree at Breton Hall College in Yorkshire. After exhibiting in various galleries in Yorkshire and East Anglia, she now shows mainly with Cambridge Contemporary Art. Rosalind lives and works in Rutland.
A late child, last in a line of sisters, Rosalind was born into a family where stories were treasured and books were portals to other places and times. The youngest of three, she shared a room with a sister, and had the habit of telling her a bedtime story every night. This variant on the Arabian Nights lasted 1000 evenings before the girls were separated into rooms of their own. Whatever lay at the source of this need to tell endless variations on stories of adventure and triumph, typically of a female heroine, Rosalind was developing a sense of the uses of narrative fiction at an early age, in a compelling and determined sort of way.
