Robert Huffman (born March 12, 1968) is a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver from Claremont, North Carolina. He drives the 12 Toyota Dealers / XM Toyota in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
On February 28, 1999, during an armed stand-off at Oak Grove Cemetery in Shreve, Ohio, Robert Huffman was shot and killed by a deputy of the Wayne County Sheriff's Office. The facts surrounding that incident clearly demonstrate that Huffman invited officers to shoot him, and that he was attempting to force that result by threatening them with a gun. An intensive investigation followed, and all the deputies involved were considered uncharged suspects in that investigation.
Robert Huffman was born in Belleville, Ontario in 1951, and grew up on a farm north of the city in Thurlow Township. He demonstrated artistic talent in early childhood, and was painting in oils by the age of eleven, featuring landscapes of his rural surroundings.

They brought Huffman on board in 2001 to assist a struggling GoodyÀs Dash Series program and heÀll clinch ToyotaÀs first NASCAR championship simply by starting the Oct. 24 race in Atlanta.
