Robert Blake: Murder
built 618 days ago
During his tour of military duty in Alaska, Robert Blake fell deeply in love with a 16-year-old girl who lived near the base. Because of the girl's father's disapproval over the relationship and the fact that her father wanted Blake prosecuted for statutory rape, Blake, by his own admission, began plotting her father's murder.

Earle Caldwell -- Robert Blake's "handy man" -- composed a gruesome piece of the darkest murder poetry ever penned. Caldwell admired his powerful poem so much -- he kept it close at hand in his car's cup-holder for over half a year. On this Halloween, the evil assistant to Bonny Bakley's twisted trickster was given a delicious treat -- all charges against Caldwell were called off.

Blake's second house is the derived eighth (death) of the Mars-ruled Aries seventh (spouse). His Mars at 15*Scorpio on the second cusp (quincunx Desc.) conjoins fixed star Zuben Elgenubi (the "South Scale"), bringing bitter domestic quarrels and love (sex) degenerating into violence and death. The latter could equally apply to Blake's fatal fling with Bonnie or the false love she sold to others. When Bakley was shot, the Sun at 15*Taurus (Blake's current converse MC is at 15*-16*Taurus) opposed natal Mars, and formed two interlocking quincunxes with Tr Pluto at 15*Sag and the Moon at 14*Libra. This yod is similar to Timothy McVeigh's "filled sextile" natal yod to his South Node, indicating a potential for committing (Mars) violent murder. The Pluto-Jupiter opposition on May 4th fell on Blake's exact third and ninth Koch house cusps.

The night of Bonny Bakley's execution-style murder, Robert Blake declined when asked by the police to take a polygraph test. He said he was much too distraught. Blake ... purportedly said that he feared that he would fail the test because -- as in the O. J. Simpson case -- he'd had dreams of killing Bonny and that alone might cause him to fail the test.
