The Ring is the US or American Dreamworks remake of Japanese book turned number box office horror film by Japanese author Suzuki Koji. The original films in Japan are called Ringu, Ringu 0 (zero), and Ring 2 (two). The sensation of the year, setting records in Japan, Hong Kong, and Singapore, the movie has been screened at international film festivals in the United States and abroad, winning awards in Brussels, Puchon, as well as New Zealand.

The three-stage "Quest for the Ring" contest begins with the sale of $5 raffle tickets through Nov. 20 at the Dome box office and participating Ticketmaster locations. On Nov. 21, 25 winning numbers will be drawn and posted on the Colts Web site, www.colts.com.

The Ring follows journalist Rachel Keller (Naomi Watts) as she investigates the mysterious death of her niece (revealed in the gripping opening sequence). At the wake for her niece, she overhears some friends discussing the videotape that the niece and her boyfriend watched the week before their death. Given their cryptic description of the tape and the fact that the boyfriend died across town at the same time as the niece, Keller decides to track down the tape for herself and watch it for clues.
