1. Rights
   Rights, liberties, powers, and immunities are all kinds of "rights." Most importantly, each kind of right implies a certain kind of liability in others, and each kind of right ... has its opposite form of liability. Thus a "right," plain and simple, always implies some duty in others: they must observe your right through some kind of appropriate behavior or recognition. Thus, if you have a "right" to have a job, it is going to mean that someone is going to have the duty of giving you a job. A "responsibility" is a duty [4]. What we can call the responsibility to take care of one's own interests really means a duty not to be a burden to others, which means a duty not to use them by trying to fraudulently impose a non-contractual duty of commission on them.
2. Rights -- Rights Offering
   Rights are not merely political principles, but they are principles that form the bridge between individual morality (ethics) and the moral principles governing society (politics). Rights say that morally certain actions are right, and all other actions that forcibly interfere with those actions are wrong.

While the subscription is free of charge for Section members, individual subscriptions may be purchased for $18 by calling the American Bar Association Service Center at 1-800-285-2221. Additional annual subscriptions for Section members are $3 each.
6. Bill of Rights
   If the Bill of Rights was put up for a referendum today, it would pass, but many would want limitations, according to a poll of 1,026 adults nationwide conducted by the Center for Survey Research and Analysis for The Freedom Forum. More than 9 in 10 would vote to ratify First Amendment guarantees of free speech, press, religion, and association. But large groups would support amendments. Half oppose offensive art. Half ... oppose flag burning. Nearly half oppose songs with distasteful lyrics.

8. Human Rights -- Human Rights Act
   Freedom of Speech and Human Rights are taken for granted in the west, but recent years have seen conditions deteriorate around the world. As early as 1997 for example, Human Rights conditions were reported to remain unchanged compared to previous years, or in some countries, actually worsen, around the world. In 1998 for example, the UN reported that even though over a hundred governments had agreed to help outlaw some of the worse violations of rights, torture was still on the increase.
9. Do the Right Thing -- World
   Besides, if the rest of the world is so smart, so brilliant, why do their countries have so many problems? The US is not to blame for everything. Do not let the cacophony of negativity get you down. The world loves to see the big dog down. Unfortunate human nature.
