Rick Crawford is hoping to put the 2005 season behind him and rekindle the magic of his 2003 championship run in ‘06. Crawford, a 20-year veteran driver, is still the Iron Man of the series, but he saw his record streak of consecutive series starts end in ‘05 at 211 with a vicious qualifying accident at Kentucky Speedway. Rick Crawford is the President and Founder of Green Valley Grocery, Crawford Oil, Inc. and Crawford Coin, Inc. Both Jeri and Rick Crawford are active in numerous civic and charitable organizations. Rick currently serves as Immediate Past President of the Southern Nevada YMCA and Jeri is on the Board of Directors of the Las Vegas Symphony. Rick Crawford led twice for 87 laps to earn WIX Filters Lap Leader of the Race honors in the Power Stroke Diesel 200 at O’Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis. Crawford took the honor for the first time in 2006. He is the ninth different driver to win WIX Filters Lap Leader of the Race this season.

As an attorney in Cedartown, Rick's law practice includes real estate, family, criminal and juvenile law. He is ... a Special Assistant Attorney General representing the Georgia Department of Transportation. He has been admitted to practice in all state courts in Georgia, including the Georgia Supreme Court and the Georgia Court of Appeals, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
