Rick Crawford is a lifelong resident of Polk County. He is married to the former Susan Pinkard of Rockmart, and they live in the Fish Creek community with their two children, daughter Janae and son Parker. They are active members of the First Baptist Church of Cedartown.

The Mobile Sports Hall of Fame tapped Rick Crawford, driver of the Circle Bar/Power Stroke Diesel Ford F-150, to become the 75th inductee into the Hall of Fame. Crawford's induction will be the first from the world of motor sports and the first time an active athlete has been voted into the Hall. Crawford was selected from 78 nominees and swept into the Hall of Fame with an overwhelming letter writing campaign from fans along the Gulf Coast. The 4 member 2007 Class will join prior inductees, Hank Aaron, Vince Dooley, Willie McCovey, Kenny Stabler, Billy Williams, Satchel Paige, Cleon Jones, Amos Otis, Tommie Agee, Ozzie Smith and Richard Todd. The induction ceremony of the 2007 Hall of Fame Class is slated for April 19 at Mobile's Marriott Hotel.

During law school Rick worked in the Clerk’s Office and the Speaker’s Office at the Georgia House of Representatives. Before starting his own practice in Cedartown, Rick served a s law clerk to the superior court judges of the Tallapoosa Judicial Circuit. He has ... served as Judge of the Municipal Court of Cedartown, Judge of the municipal Court of Rockmart, and as Chief Magistrate Judge of Polk County. He has been active in the Georgia Council of Municipal Court Judges and served several terms on the executive committee of that body.

In 2000, Crawford reunited with crew chief Ray Stonkus, finished third at Dover Downs International Speedway, then added a sixth-place finish at Texas. Crawford ... became a $1 million career winner on the NCTS in 2000.

Rick has over 33 years of experience in the construction industry. He is a graduate of Bellaire High School and attended one year at Sam Houston State University. Rick has hands on experience in every aspect of the construction process from framing to design. He has spent the majority of his career in the role of a supervisor for residential remodeling projects. Rick’s main strength is his ability to work with customers who demand the highest level of quality. He continually exhibits patience and creativity to solve the most challenging situations.
