built 255 days ago
Rick Crawford is a man who is living his dream - and a man who is still dreaming of more in racing and in life. It's a long way from the short tracks of Mobile, Alabama to the NASCAR CTS. Rick Crawford has come this far. Don't bet that he won't go farther still. A perfectionist in pursuit of a dream.

Other highlights of the race came early on when Rick Crawford hit defending champion Ted Musgrave on lap 90 pushing him up into the wall. Rather than pitting immediately Musgrave found Crawford, drove up next to him, and pushed him up the track to the wall. Musgrave was parked by NASCAR for the remainder of the race and finished 31st. He dropped two positions in the standings to sixth. Crawford finished the race 7th.
Carlos with Rick Crawford On top of meeting Rick Crawford, Carlos joined in unveiling the race truck with Cisco Codina, Vice-President of Ford Customer Service Division and Steve Lyons, President of Ford Division. Carlos and his family were ... invited to attend the race truck races later on in the week as VIP guests. Rick, in Carlos' design, came in 2nd place in the race!! Talk about looking fast!!
Crawford began his racing career as a short-track racer in the southeastern United States. During this time, he was a three-time winner of the annual Snowball Derby, in 1983, 1984, and 1989. He ... won the track championship at Five Flags Speedway in 1981 and 1984, and won the championship at Mobile Alabama Speedway in 1981, 1982, and 1984. After that, he moved to the All Pro Series, where he made eleven starts, and collected sixty-one top tens, and earned five victories.
NASCAR Craftsman Truck driver Rick Crawford and the folks at Ford Racing planned to use all of Thursday to learn the ins and outs of the new 2004 Ford F-150. Instead, they lost an engine only 2 hours into the test and had to pack up and head home.
Rick Crawford is a man who is truly living his dream. When you consider that only about 130 professional racers in the USA make a living as a driver at the top levels in racing, this is no small achievement. Indeed, it is something to take pride in.
