Rick Crawford: Circle Bar Racing
built 255 days ago
Crawford reunited with Stonkus and immediately finished third at Dover Downs International Speedway, then added a sixth place finish at Texas Motor Speedway and is eagerly awaiting an opportunity to better their 2000 record of a dozen top-10 finishes. The driver remains a hands-on component of Circle Bar Racing in the team manager's role, but Crawford is used to running his own operation, having done so for many years in the Slim Jim All Pro Series. In the SJAPS, Crawford won five times, including three victories in 1996, when he finished third in SJAPS point standings.
Crawford's impressive string of race starts began at the Walt Disney World Speedway on January 19, 1997. In his truck series career, Crawford has been running at the finish of 247 races - a mark of 90.0% - the most of any driver in the series.(Circle Bar Racing PR)(via jayski.com)
Crawford and his Circle Bar Racing team joined the NCTS in 1997 after a move from the NASCAR All-Pro Division. Finishing second to Kenny Irwin in a battle for the Rookie-of-the-Year honors, Crawford racked up two top-five and 10 top-10 finishes en route to a 12th-place finish in the series standings.

On this Dover weekend, the #14 truck was strong and swift from the time it was rolled off the hauler, and Rick had it in the top 10 in practice speeds throughout the day. The Circle Bar Truck Corral Ford F-150 qualified to a 4 th place starting position for the AAA Insurance 200 race. Crawford piloted the #14 truck to an 8 th place finish—a most respectable day, indeed for the team, which was fighting to get back into the Top 10 in Points for the series.
