Ricardo Montaner will be touring in support of his new album, Es Asi, beginning in February 1998, in South America. Look for Ricardo to perform in the US beginning as early as May of 1998. Es Asi will be available on October 28, wherever records and tapes are sold.

Ricardo Montaner's most recent disc cover Ricardo Montaner (born as Hector Eduardo Reglero Montaner on September 8, 1957) is a Venezuelan singer and songwriter. Starting his career in the early 80s, he has already released more than 15 albums with numerous successful singles and over 22 million units sold.
The third child of Ricardo Montaner, the singer-songwriter often performed with his dad as a kid. He's the second child in the close-knit family to embark on a musical career. His older brother, Alejandro, released one album on Sony Discos in 2002, then settled on a different musical route. He is now Hector's manager, but ... continues writing and penned several songs with his brother, including the first single, "Apariencias."

Ricardo Montaner Latin pop singer Ricardo Montaner was born in Argentina but raised in Venezuela, debuting in 1990 with a self-titled LP for Polygram. Subsequent efforts including 1992's Los Hijos del Sol, 1994's Cada Dia and 1995's Viene del Alma launched a series of hits like "Yo Que Te Ame," "Ojos Negros," "Dejame Llorar" and "Sera," and by the time of his 1997 Warner Music International debut Es Asi, Montaner had sold over six million records worldwide. Con La Metropolitan London Orchestra, a collection of re-recorded hits, followed in 1999. Soy Tuyo appeared in early 2001.
Venezuelan pop singer Ricardo Montaner was born as Hector Eduardo Reglero Montaner on September 8 1957 in Valentín Alsina, Buenos Aires, Argentina, but moved to Venezuela when he was 6 years old. During his youth he performed in the church chorus in the town of Maracaibo and soon after launched his career in the early 80's. But it wasn't until 1987 when Ricardo became popular in Venezuela with the singles "Yo Que Te Amé" and "Vamos a Dejarlo" belonging to his self-titled album.
