The Company announced at its Investor Day on November 8, 2007, that it was redefining its financial reporting segments. The new segment tables, which will include an explanatory note listing the lines of business included in each sub-segment, can be found at www.partnerre.com in the Investor Relations section on the Financial Reports page under Supplementary Financial Data. The document includes two years of historical data on both a quarterly and annual basis.

But, while the quantity of sustainability reporting grows, WestLB calls for a significant increase in the quality and comparability of such reporting, so that financial markets will be able to gain the most value from these data.

The reporting system consisted of a secure, web-based portal available on all hospital PCs. Any employee could submit a report after a secure login. The reporting process took an average of 10 minutes to complete. Collected data was only accessible to pre-specified hospital personnel, mostly chief medical officers and quality improvement executives.
