This remake of the '50s AIP musical features Renee Zellweger as a young teen who decides to open her own rock 'n' roll club along with a friend to showcase her new band. The actress was at Saks Fifth Avenue in New York when she saw a make-up artist from Bobbi Brown admiring a pair of Manolo Blahniks during her lunch break. She approached her in the shoe department and the two began to chat about the shoes.
