Omya Industries Inc. announced Tuesday it is relocating its corporate headquarters to Cincinnati, a move that will mean the loss of 50 high-paying jobs, representing nearly 17 percent of the company's Vermont workforce…. He said the affected Vermont jobs include human resources, accounting and finance, engineering, purchasing and environmental services…. Omya is one of the area's largest and best-paying employers with average salaries in the $50,000 to $60,000 range. The company estimates its annual economic impact at $55 million, including payroll, subcontracting work, purchases and taxes. FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., April 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Akebono Corporation North America (ACNA) will be relocating their North American headquarter operations from Farmington Hills, Michigan, to Elizabethtown, Kentucky.
