Registration lists are provided as a service for conference attendees, offering a convenient way to network with colleagues. Registration provides a dated record of the writer's claim to authorship of a particular literary material. If necessary a WGA employee may produce the material as evidence if legal or official Guild action is initiated.

Registration-by-Appointment Period – By appointment only, eligible students may access SOLAR to add, drop, or swap classes; change the grading basis of a class; and confirm their schedule. Registration in repeated courses is not permitted.

Most classes require full payment at the time of registration. You can choose from a variety of payment methods. Payment can be made with a Check, Company Purchase Order (P.O.), Money Order or Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express). Checks should be made payable to "University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee." Cash is accepted through in-person registration only.

Titles are not registered with the WGAW Registry, as they are not protected by registration. The title or filename is mainly used to identify material within specific registrant records. The Registry does not make comparisons of titles or record title changes for registered material. Title changes do not require re-registration of material.

If the new plates will be custom-ordered, you may order them in person at the same time you renew the registration. Or, you may renew using any method above and order the plates by mail. You would then exchange the plates in person when the new set is ready.
