Papelbon shaking hands No current members of the Red Sox are on the list. Coincidence? Perhaps. There is a chance that Gagne and Donnelly could have been with the Sox this December, and Theo let Donnelly go about 14 hours before the report came out. In addition, Mitchell cited Theo in an interview about Gagne which proved that Theo knew about Gagne's steroid usage before signing him.
Not really knowing what a Red Sox fan was, but wanting to be like their teacher, hands explode into the air. There is... one exception. A girl named Lucy has not gone along with the crowd.

Crowd outside Huntington Avenue Grounds during the 1903 World Series On the field, the Red Sox had some success during this period, but were unable to return to the World Series. In 1995, they won the newly-realigned American League East, finishing seven games ahead of the Yankees. However, they were swept in three games in a series against the Cleveland Indians. Their postseason losing streak reached 13 straight games, dating back to the 1986 World Series.
The Red Sox had a record offensive year in 2003, as has been documented many places. They led the league with 158 batting Win Shares (Toronto was second with 137 Win Shares.). Fenway was much more of a hitter's park in 2003 than in previous years: the Sox batted .316 at home and .263 on the road. Pete's Win Shares account for this change in park factor during the year.

Boston won the first two games in Shea Stadium but lost the next two at Fenway, knotting the series at 2 games apiece. After Bruce Hurst recorded his second victory of the series in Game 5, the Red Sox returned to Shea Stadium looking to garner their first championship in 68 years. However, Game 6 would go down as one of the most devastating losses in club history. After pitching seven strong innings, Clemens was lifted from the game with a 3-2 lead. Years later, Manager John McNamara said Clemens was suffering from a blister and asked to be taken out of the game, a claim Clemens denied.

It began in the second round of the 2004 MLB draft when Dustin Pedroia was picked by the Red Sox. It started on November 14, 1966 when Curt Schilling was born. It started in January of 2007 when Jon Lester, recovering from a grueling battle with cancer, received a clean bill of health and began to throw.
