This expandable ad for Red Lobster is obviously designed to educate the health-conscious casual-dining aficionado-- and it seems like it just might work. That bouncy red arrow actually works very well to call out the interactive nature of the ad, and upon rollover, the real fun begins. The combinations of meals that one can put together just to gauge the nutritional information was educational and especially addictive right around lunchtime. The ability to add entrees and sides to your heart's (dis)content, was definitely a nice touch, showing off just how light some of the choices are.
Red Lobster's new wine selections include Cavit Pinot Grigio, BV Coastal Estates Sauvignon Blanc, Robert Mondavi Private Selection Chardonnay, Columbia Crest Two Vines Merlot, Sutter Home Merlot, Rex Goliath! Pinot Noir and Excelsior Cabernet Sauvignon.

But in general both brands given their scale and scope are very driven by Network TV, and will continue to be driven primarily by Network TV into the near future, and we look at a number of things here, we look at in the near-term we look at incremental guest comp traffic that our promotions get us, and every couple of years we do a return analysis, maybe a mix analysis that gives us a few of what the return on, return is on different elements in our marketing mix: radio, Network TV, coupons and so forth, and that all continues to point to Network TV, while relatively more expensive reach here, is still the best game in town.
