'The Red Hot Chili Peppers' is an album theme; 'Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers' is an album theme. Both originate from the same source and neither of them use mechanical music instruments as recorded. An entire recording can be copyrighted but copyrighted wrongly and illegally so that record factories can fire up their assembly lines and take home paychecks. Been robbed, original music snatched and mass-marketed? See the Motown entry describing the voice-recording machines once popular as a way to save your own voiceprints. There should be a library of sound spectrographs in the FBI that show the similarities and differences among vocal frequencies and instrument-music frequencies for all marketed music; each theme uses different frequencies but no music requires mechanical instruments.

Buy Red Hot Chili Peppers Tickets The Red Hot Chili Peppers are a Californian rock band who have combined aspects of funk and hip-hop with rock and roll. The band started in 1983. One critic has summarized their lyrics as "sex, good times, rock and roll and more sex" with some truth, though some of their biggest hits, such as Under The Bridge, have been considerably more introspective. Perhaps the most distinctive feature of their sound is the bass playing of Flea, whose flashy, slap-heavy playing not only provides a groove but is ... the source of many musical flourishes. They are also well known for playing bare chested, in fact Flea often goes one step further and performs naked on stage.
For a remarkable 11 consecutive weeks, the Red Hot Chili Peppers' single "By The Way" has remained at #1 on the Neilsen BDS Rock chart in Canada. With that streak, the Peppers have become the most dominant act on the chart since its inception in January 1997. The band has now enjoyed a total of 34 weeks at the top of the Rock chart: "Scar Tissue" - 12 weeks, "Outside" - 7 weeks, "Californication" - 4 weeks and "By The Way" - 11 weeks. They are ... the first group to have 2 songs spend at least 10 weeks at #1 on the BDS Rock chart.

Red Hot Chili Peppers In the 20+ years of the existence of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the band has gone through more personnel changes than most top pop-rock groups. Some members have left due to personal tragedy such as the suicide of Hillel Slovak and drug addicition of John Frusciante in his first period with the band. Others have been incompatible musically. Arik Marshall and Dave Navarro fall into this group.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers, a California-based rock band, were formed in 1983 by three high school friends (Anthony Kiedis, Michael “Flea” Balzary, Hillel Slovak) after what was supposed to be a one-time performance in Los Angeles. Greatly influenced by the L.A. punk scene as well as funk, the Chili Peppers (originally “Tony Flow and the Miraculously Majestic Masters of Mayhem") began their career performing in strip bars along the Sunset strip. Later on that year the band landed a record deal with EMI.

The Read Hot Chili Peppers second album is nearly entirely funk. It was produced by Parliament/Funkadelic leader George Clinton and remains a favorite of hardcore fans. Unfortunately, the group again missed the record charts.
