She is accompanied by eight school children from Richard Henry Dana Middle School in Hawthorne, California, near Los Angeles. The Kenya measles campaign marks a major expansion for the initiative. Seymour will visit hospitals schools and talk to parents to bring their children to be vaccinated.

Six logisticians from various members of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement are already en route to Baton Rouge, while 70 more have offered their expertise. Logisticians are vital to relief efforts, helping with supply-chain management, shipping, warehousing fleet management and disbursement of supplies.

WASHINGTON, May 19 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Red Cross (Red Cross) recently experienced a breach of information security at the Missouri-Illinois Blood Services Region. This breach does not affect health history information, but "identifying information", including donor names, dates of birth and Social Security Numbers (SSNs), which is contained in the affected database. The incident did not involve hacking from outside the Red Cross. Rather, a Red Cross employee stole donor information. A federal grand jury has indicted the former employee, who used donor identifying information to obtain credit cards and other accounts. The former employee, who passed all background checks prior to employment, is currently awaiting trial.

In addition to the $1,000,000 voluntary contribution to the Arizona chapters of the American Red Cross, LandAmerica will partner with the Arizona DOI to implement a pilot program designed to educate Arizona consumers about title insurance. Components of the educational program include a website as well as brochures in English and Spanish explaining the value that title insurance provides property owners. An ad campaign is planned that will run five times in each of the major daily newspapers in Arizona that will reach millions of Arizona consumers.
