The Red Bull Air Race World Series is an international racing event stopping at 12 different locations throughout the world. The race features the world’s lightest, most agile and responsive planes navigating a course of “Air Gates” at 250 mph and low altitudes.
SANTA MONICA, Calif., April 25 /PRNewswire/ -- The high speeds and thrills of the Red Bull Air Race World Series will touch down in Monument Valley, UT, on May 12th, 2007. Home to the iconic scenery of sandstone buttes and isolated red mesas, Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park will provide an amazing backdrop for one of the first Air Races held entirely over land.
Check out the Reb Bull Air Race photo gallery In its third year, The Red Bull Air Race World Series will again conclude in Perth over the Swan River. The 2008 event will run over two days with qualifying taking place on Saturday 1 November and Race Day on Sunday 2 November.
On May 12th at 10:00 am, the gates will open, and the high speed excitement of the Red Bull Air Race will begin. There will be opportunities to tour the paddock, view the spectacular planes and interact with the 14 highly skilled pilots. The official opening will start at 1:30 pm, fast flying action starts at 2:30 pm culminating in the new “knock out” finale.

Twelve instead of eight races, fourteen instead of eleven pilots and a knockout final in Perth topping last year’s sensational success. The Perth event took place over two days, November 3 - November 4.
Sweden was today unveiled as the latest country to host a round of the incredible Red Bull Air Race World Series. The announcement that a race will be held in Stockholm for the first time was made by Bernd Loidl (CEO) in the dramatic surrounds of Hangar-7 at Salzburg Airport in Austria.
