In addition, the soundtrack features an original song "The Heart of Every Girl" by Academy Award winner and Golden Globe Award winner Elton John and Bernie Taupin. The album was released on Friday, just three weeks before the film Mona Lisa Smile starring Julia Roberts, Kirsten Dunst, Julia Stiles and Maggie Gyllenhaal.
