Director Robert Rodriguez revives the sexy space heroine originally created by French artist Jean-Claude Forest and memorably portrayed by Jane Fonda in the 1968 science fiction film for this scintillating space adventure set in the distant future. Screenwriters Neal Purvis and Robert Wade collaborate on the script, and producer Dino de Laurentiis returns to serve in the same capacity as he did in the Roger Vadim-directed original. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide
