Heyman claimed innocence about the whole thing, telling Angle he had no idea Raven & Sandman had planned this. Many of the wrestlers involved with the storyline say otherwise, claiming Paul Heyman knew all along but denied it just to appease Kurt so he would work for ECW.

After the Sandman and Justin Credible match, Raven makes a reappearance leading Balls in from the back by a rope around his neck. He then proceeds to wreak havoc in the ring and throws a fireball in Sandman’s face. He grabs the mike and starts informing the crowd that he was always the true star of ECW and that they should all be chanting ECW whenever he comes to the ring. A resounding Johnny Polo chant is his answer. Frank Goodman comes to the ring and smugly informs Raven that NY has fire codes and he just broke them.. He is now suspended for 60 days.

During a match between Tommy Dreamer and Cactus Jack, both Raven and Terry Funk interfered. Cactus tried to hit Terry with a chair that had a burning towel on it. The towel came off and burned Funk who then let the towel get into the audience. Security shot off fire extinguishers as the arena lights were shut off for an angle involving Dreamer and Raven. As you can guess, pandemonium erupted in the arena. Mick Foley discusses the incident and fans lawsuits in his first two books.

Beulah was introduced soon after the outset of the epic Raven / Tommy Dreamer feud. Her backstory was that, while Raven and Dreamer (allegedly former childhood friends) had been attending a summer camp in their teens, they had met Beulah, then fat. Beulah had fallen in love with Tommy Dreamer, but he rejected her, so she slept with Raven. Raven's lackey Stevie Richards brought Beulah to ECW so she could gain revenge on Dreamer by helping Raven. Beulah became Raven's valet, and suffered several piledrivers at the hands of Dreamer during the course of the feud.

After leaving WCW a couple of years ago, Raven gained weight and lost desire, according to many close observers of the sport, ECW owner Paul Heyman among them. He and Heyman had a falling out of sorts and his contract wasn't renewed. Now Scott Levy, at age 38, is back in the World Wrestling Federation. Levy had a fairly lackluster stay there several years ago as yuppie manager Johnny Polo. In 1993-94, Raven led the Quebecers to three WWF tag title reigns. His impact in the WWF was minimal and he joined ECW shortly thereafter, where he became a cult figure among its hardcore, party- intensive fans.
