Raven wasn’t satisfied with the win and continued to pound on Rhodes after the bell rang. After knocking the big Texan out of the ring, Raven pulled out a straight jacket from under the ring and wrapped him up. He then rolled a defenseless Rhodes back into the ring. Dustin tried to fight back with his legs, but Raven got a shot to his head with a trash can. The sadistic Raven then buckled Rhodes to the turnbuckle and got a strap out to do some more damage.

During the mid-90's wrestling boom, one could always count on Raven to be a walking billboard for whichever Vertigo/Marvel Knights property had put out a t-shirt that week. Sandman, Transmet, Daredevil, Inhumans...if it was on a t-shirt, he'd wear it to the ring eventually. He even adopted the ankh-over-one-eye look from DC's Fate for a month or so.

To further try and appease Kurt, Heyman made Raven break character and apologize to the ECW crowd in the ring. Raven and Sandman felt this was totally unnecessary and Raven gave a "sincerely insincere" apology.
