New Bern, NC--Brad Gemberling pitched a complete-game three-hit shutout in his River Rats debut, and Nick Hogan delivered an eigth inning RBI single--the team's only hit of the night--to beat the Wilson Tobs 1-0 at Boykin Field on Saturday night. The Rats overcame a weather-delayed start to improve to 2-1 in the second half. [Box Score]

This "mini-rats" team is dedicated to developing young show skiers, aged 4 - 18, who want to become Show Skiers. Includes water safety, learn to ski, and learning beginning to advanced show ski skills. Taught by certified USAWS instructors! Columbia, SC--Brad Gemberling pitched eight shutout innings and Britton Horn pitched a scoreless ninth to lead the River Rats past the Blowfish in Columbia 4-0 Sunday night. The River Rats scored all four runs in the top of the fourth inning, capped by Brian Randazzo's two-RBIÂ single. With the win, the River Rats moved into a tie for 2nd place in the South Division, 3 1/2 games behind the Fayetteville SwampDogs.
