- Patriots -- Randy Moss
...Washington, 35, who obtained a restraining order earlier this year in a domestic-violence case against Patriots receiver Randy Moss, wants the case dismissed, Florida court records show. Briefly: The Panthers released center Justin Hartwig. - Carrie-Anne Moss -- Modeling
Not to hate, but why is Carrie-Anne Moss carrying what looks like a very large child? Granted, kid's got his slippies on, and lord knows it can take forever to get anywhere when they're that age, but that's what leashes are for. Emma Thompson uses them, so it's totally ok! - Raiders -- Head Coach
The original Raiders uniforms were black and gold, while the helmets were black with a white stripe and no logo. The team wore this design from 1960–1962.[66] When Al Davis became head coach and general manager in 1963, he changed the team's color scheme to silver and black, and added a logo to the helmet.[67] This logo is a shield that consists of the word "Raiders" at the top, crossed swords, and the head of a Raider wearing a football helmet. Over the years, it has undergone minor color modifications (such as changing the background from white to black in 1964), but it has essentially remained the same. - John Abraham -- Team
Abraham first went to the Bombay Scottish School and later to Jai Hind College.[2] He was an avid sportsman, captaining the college football team. He earned his M.B.A degree from Mumbai Educational Trust (MET).[2] - New England Patriots -- Super Bowl
ESPN.com reports an unnamed source claims a New England Patriots' employee secretly videotaped the St. Louis Rams pregame walkthrough the day before Super Bowl XXXVI, the Boston Herald reported. The report claims a member of the team's video staff stayed to tape the Rams' walkthrough. The cameraman was not asked to identify himself or produce a press pass. The source claims the cameraman later rode the media shuttle back to the Patriots' hotel. NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said, "We were aware of the rumor months ago and looked into it. There was no evidence of it on the tapes or in the notes produced by the Patriots, and the Patriots told us it was not true." - Patriots -- New England Patriots
The New England Patriots agreed to terms with free agent wide receiver- Kelley Washington. The former Tennessee Volunteer became the sixth free agent signed by the Pats in a 10 day stretch. Washington is coming off four sub-par seasons in Cincinnati where he was somewhat lost on the team's depth chart behind Chad Johnson, TJ Houshmandzadeh, and Chris Henry. Kelley will join what is now a considered a crowded group with the likes of Reche Caldwell, Jabar Gaffney, Donte Stallworth, and Wes Walker among others. The deal seems like a no-brainer for the Pats who reportedly signed Washington for very little in terms of guaranteed money. Word is the wideout will - Kent State University -- Shootings
Kent State University is one of the few universities in the country that has already instituted graduate level programs of study in the burgeoning fields of Information Architecture and Knowledge Management (IAKM [8]). Recently they have ... started offering an online Certificate Program in Knowledge Management. - New England Patriots
The New England Patriots are the most widely disrespected organization in the NFL, if not the world. Teams repeatedly show their disrespect to the Patriots by winning the Superbowl, and then offering a ride to the flocks of people who immediatly fall off of the Patriot bandwagon, while the media disrespects the Patriots by suggesting that the Colts were better. The World Cup, an event held every four years solely to underestimate the Patriots, has further fueled this general lack of respect. Only the gloriously loyal fans of Boston see through this fog, and their arrogance upon Patriot victories is wholly laughed at. - Slackers
One of the most notable bands to emerge out of the New York City ska revival scene of the 1990s, the Slackers is comprised of vocalist Marq Lyn, vocalist/keyboardist Vic Ruggerio, guitarist T.J. Scanlon, bassist Marcus Geard, saxophonist David Hillyard, trumpeter Jeremy Mushlin, trombonist Glen Pine, and drummer Luis Zuluaga. After beginning their career in 1991 playing rocksteady and ska in the 2-Tone vein, the Slackers moved toward a more traditional style, even adding a horn section in 1994. They issued their debut LP, Better Late Than Never, in 1996, followed a year later by Redlight. The group resurfaced in 1998 with The Question; Live at Ernesto's appeared two years later; Wasted Days, which featured a cover of Bon Jovi's "Wanted Dead or Alive," surfaced in early 2001. - Minnesota Vikings -- Teams
The Minnesota Vikings are a professional American football team based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They are members of the North Division of the National Football Conference (NFC) in the National Football League (NFL). The Vikings have won one NFL championship and were the first team to both play in and lose four Super Bowls. The Vikings have won their division 16 times, third most among teams currently playing in the NFL.
