For the last several years, two-time NASCAR Busch Series Champion, Randy Lajoie, has been building custom seats that a majority of NASCAR drivers are using. These seats have been subjected to rigorous testing by NASCAR and the knowledge gained is now being applied to a seat for sports cars.

Truex and Lajoie- Martin Truex and Randy Lajoie were having high tide nights, both running in the top five as the field restarted on lap 209. But this good night came to an end for both as Truex had a problem with his car was rear-ended by Lajoie, consequently ending the night for both drivers.

On the last lap, Burton passed Lajoie and slid up the track. Lajoie was able to drive to the low side and regain the lead. Mark Martin's win streak was stopped at three in a row with his fourth place finish.
