Rampage
built 487 days ago
The thing that makes Rampage so much fun to play is its complete simplicity, just like the original arcade game. Unfortunately, it may ... be the game's biggest weakness, just like the original arcade game. As good as Rampage was at mindless and rampant destruction, and easy to use controls, it eventually becomes monotonous, repetitive and boring. Rampage: Total Destruction has the same effect, even though parts of the game are definitely upgraded from the 1986 original. The game in a nutshell goes like this. Think Godzilla, or every other Saturday afternoon 1950's gigantic monster movie you ever saw.

The Rampage can easily be transported across a gym floor or up a driveway. Simply depress the foot lever located on the base unit for transport. Flip the lever back up for play. The extension arm drops down easily without tools to allow the Rampage to pass under doorways for storage rooms or garages. The backboard to base extension is 30" at all rim heights. The front base extension is 30" at all rim heights.

Kitty Faulkner as Rampage Since the initial accident that transformed Kitty Faulkner into Rampage, she has found herself in situations, which prompted her to become the super-strong creature several more times. However, she has since learned to control these instances and has even managed to maintain her intellect while in the Rampage form. Kitty rarely turns into Rampage anymore, preferring instead to dedicate herself to a prosperous career working at S.T.A.R. Labs.
Previously, Rampage was used to one-shot bosses. This was done by repeatedly entering instances, using Rampage, going out, using Rampage, going in, and repeat this about 500 times. This way, you could get up to 2.3 million damage in one hit, as long as Rampage was active. This has been hotfixed....

In the Beast Wars Metals Manga on Bonbon magazine, Rampage was portrayed as a cannibalistic monster who attacked Optimus Primal, Airazor, and Rattrap when they investigated the vicinity of where his stasis pod was located. It was by sheer luck that they managed to jettison him into space, oddly taking him out of the story for good.
