IRVING, Texas, Dec. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- EFJ, Inc. (Nasdaq: EFJI - News) announced today that its EFJohnson subsidiary has been selected by a major systems integrator to provide its Trunked IP25(TM) Infrastructure System along with Project 25 compliant radios. The order is for a Department of Defense customer in support on the war on terrorism and is valued at $11.7 million.

Harris is providing RF-7800W radios to integrate into the Wireless Point to Point Link system, a key element of the Marines' battlefield communications solution. The agreement was granted under contract with the Army Project Manager for the Warfighter Information Network-Tactical, and through the U.S. Army's $5 billion Worldwide Satellite Systems contract vehicle.
