1. R Kelly -- R. Kelly
   R. Kelly was born on January 8, 1968 and grew up in Chicago. Even though the odds were against Kelly as he grew up in the projects of Chicago, getting shot during a mugging and the guidance of his mother and a teacher helped Kelly stay away from gangs and turn to basketball and eventually music. In the mid-90s, R. Kelly rose out as a solo act into the limelight of R&B and pop radio with his smooth style and songwriting. At the turn of the decade, Kelly was making money performing his music to an audience - it was on the streets of Chicago, but the money was increasing. Kelly's big break came while he was singing at a friend's barbecue in front of other guests that included a representative from Jive Records. Soon Kelly signed with the record label.

   R Kelly should be in jail he's a grown man who knows better. In the ninties didn't he get in trouble for having underage dancers bumping and grinding and he married Aaliyah at fifteen! It doesn't matter how immature or thoughtless these girls were they were underage and he had multiple tapes which says he didn't care. He's a pervert.
3. R Kelly -- Sex
   On June 6, 2002, Kelly was indicted on 21 counts of having sexual intercourse with a minor. The charges, which were later reduced to soliciting a minor for child pornography, stemmed from a video tape allegedly showing Kelly having sex with a 14-year-old girl. To date, Kelly still faces 14 of the original charges. The judge in his case has set the start of his trial on May 9, 2008.

   The suit accuses Jay-Z and Marcy Projects of intentionally causing a series of production snafus and then physically assaulting R. Kelly and some members of his entourage with pepper spray. It ... levels breach-of-contract charges against Jay-Z, Marcy Projects, and Atlanta Worldwide Touring Company, the tour promoter.
5. R Kelly -- Public Announcement
   Urban R&B musician R Kelly and his supporting band Public Announcement began recording in 1992 at the tail end of the new jack swing era, yet he was able to keep much of its sound alive while remaining commercially successful. While he created a smooth, professional mixture of hip-hop beats, soul-man crooning, and funk, the most distinctive element of Kelly's music is its explicit carnality.

7. R Kelly -- Singers
   The winner of Fox TV's first American Idol: The Search for a Superstar competition during the summer of 2002, Kelly Clarkson went from an anonymous talent to a nationally known singer, performing for an audience of millions of viewers. One of the show's most naturally gifted singers, the 20-year-old Burleson, TX, native's vocal talents were discovered when she was in seventh grade, when her school's choir teacher heard her singing and urged Clarkson to join the choir. After high school, Clarkson cultivated her voice and went to Hollywood to make her name; she appeared as an extra on an episode of Sabrina, the Teenage Witch but no other opportunities materialized.
8. R Kelly -- Albums
   After R Kelly recovered from the McDonalds scandal, he released his new album Born in the 14th Century. After the release party Kelly lied down in his diamond encrusted platinum tempurpedic and listened to a book on tape of Pauly Shore's hey Buuuudddddyyy as read by Wilford Brimley, and was inspired to become a firefighter.
9. R Kelly -- Michael Jackson
   Kelly has produced all of his own recordings, and other artists have sought him out as a producer and songwriter, intrigued by the palette of sounds he seemed to have at his command. Kelly has worked with Whitney Houston, Quincy Jones, Toni Braxton, Gladys Knight, and, most famously, Michael Jackson, as composer of the Number One hit "You Are Not Alone," released on Jackson's HIStory album. Another creative collaboration made headlines in the nation's music press: Kelly's stint as producer of the 16-year-old vocalist Aaliyah. Rumors about the two peaked in 1994 with speculations that they had married. Although Kelly maintained that the relationship was nothing more than platonic, reports of the couple's marriage annulment circulated widely, indicating that Aaliyah had falsely claimed to be 18 at the time. Kelly never confirmed the marriage.
10. Ne-Yo -- R. Kelly
    LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Ne-Yo has filed a lawsuit based on his belief that fans like him better than they like R. Kelly. Ne-Yo is suing the promoter of R. Kelly's tour, Rowe Entertainment, alleging breach of contract and violation of the right of publicity.
