Many quests that involve escorting an NPC through an area full of mobs can be quite difficult to do alone. "The Defias Traitor" quest in Westfall is one such example, as is the Forsaken quest in Silverpine Forest "Escorting Erland." The NPCs of those quests are suicidal hotshots who engage each enemy within a 10-yard radius despite your directive to keep them alive, leaving you to save them from themselves as well as all the other mobs attempting to eat both of you. In addition, many escort quests have scripted events where a number of enemies will spawn right in front of you, forcing you to fight them at once. Failing these quests occurs commonly, but you can easily abandon it and start over. Or, in some cases, if you find yourself overwhelmed during quests like these, abandon the quest and run away as far as you can, and try it again when you are at a higher level or have some backup coming with you.

If your tired of doing just seven quests think about typing out 21 quests! Well anyways, when you are about to enter the dungeon a prince asks for your help. And like always, you will help. Go down in the dungeon and find the center room that Jasmine is held. She cannot leave because of a spell cast by a wizard. Go down a level and find the prince's other friend.

Tying into Hellgate's randomized generation system is the chance event system, by which quests linked to certain map tile sets have a small chance of appearing when you uncover a room. Roper recaled one such event: "If I'm running around the maintenance rooms, there's maybe a one in a hundred chance that I'll run into this Templar who sends me a help request on my PDA by putting out a beacon. When you find him on the level, he'll have a side mission for you that takes maybe 10 to 15 minutes to complete..."

Power quests are those quests which increase (or decrease) the energy reserves of a particular nexus of power. Killing angels in Celestia and giving them to the Demon Lords of Nil will increase the power of the Megalith of Doom in Magnagora (though it will decrease the power level in Celest). Your city or commune should make you well aware of what quests helps their nexus of power, which will benefit everyone including you.
