Qbasic Programming Language: Students
built 640 days ago
This is an American commercial website that hosts a large number of tutorials... lots of code snippets and access to online books, covering varying aspects of the QBasic programming language. The website is cleanly designed with the content being accessed by browsing as it is a text-only site (although there are a number of graphics) and it has no interactivity. It is a great repository for any student trying to enhance their programming skills whilst working with this language.

Even though programming languages were easier to learn, there was still much need for easier programming methods. Some Dartmouth College professors decided to write an easier programming language based on FORTRAN but with fewer details than FORTRAN required. Those professors developed BASIC, the language that enabled students to write programs because of its easier format and less restrictive syntax than FORTRANs.
