Qatar Airways, one of the world's fastest growing airlines, currently operates a modern fleet of 58 all-Airbus aircraft. The fleet size is set to almost double to 110 aircraft by 2015. With a growing international network, more travellers have an opportunity to use Qatar Airways' brand new Premium Terminal at Doha International Airport, exclusively for its departing First and Business Class passengers.
Pending regulatory approval, United's codeshare with Qatar Airways, a premier Middle East airline, will give United customers more options to the Middle East, as well as South and Southeast Asia. For the first time ever, United customers will have service to five countries new to United's offerings, including destinations such as Doha, Qatar; Colombo, Sri Lanka; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Male, Maldives; and Peshawar, Pakistan.

From the end of March, Qatar Airways will serve the southern Chinese industrial port city of Guangzhou. It will operate four flights-a-week non-stop using an Airbus A330 aircraft in a two-class configuration of up to 24 seats in Business Class and a maximum 248 in Economy. Qatar Airways already flies to Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong with a total of 16 flights a week.
