In celebration of the 1995 Pulitzer Prize in music, the American University Library mounted a special exhibit, displayed May 8-July 1, 1995, which focused on the history and winners of the coveted music award. That exhibit has been updated to include information on the 1996-2002 winners.

Reporter Nigel Jaquiss is among this year's Pulitzer Prize winners. Jaquiss, of Willamette Week of Portland, Ore., won for his investigative reporting on a 30-year state secret: The story of former Gov. Neil Goldschmidt's sexual abuse of a 14-year-old girl.

In the same year that Maxwell Anderson wrote 'High Tor' for 'The Philco Television Playhouse' on September 10th 1950, he wrote a couple of episodes for this series simply because he was a pulitzer prize winner. The question to ask is does his plays have a natural home on the silver screen?
