Many digital projectors offer what is called Economy Mode or Eco-Mode. This is a setting that uses less brightness from the projector lamp, yet will make the projector lamp last longer. An example of this projector Eco-Mode is if you have a projector with 2000 lumens of brightness, its lamp hour rating might be 2000 hours. If you put the projector in Economy Mode, the brightness might go down to around 1600 lumens of brightness, but the projector lamp may last 3000 hours. If you go back and forth from the two brightness options, then your lamp hours would be somewhere between 2000 and 3000.

AccessIT currently has an exclusive agreement with The Bigger Picture to make its entertainment programming available to all exhibitors across the country equipped with 2K digital projectors, including more than 1,600 deployed to date by its Christie/AIX business unit. The programs include Kidtoon Films providing G-rated movies for kids on the weekends, anime films for teen and college audiences and inspirational films from Fox Faith, a unit of Twentieth Century Fox Studios. Together the companies will expand the breadth of content The Bigger Picture is providing to include, at a minimum, other programs of genre films as well as an array of compelling non- traditional entertainment programs.

The Barco DP100 projectors will be connected to EFILM's four DI suites, which are driven by content generated on four SGI(R) Onyx(R) 3400 visualization systems. EFILM uses the SGI equipment to create Digital Intermediates, a process that includes high-resolution scanning, color correction, laser film recording, video mastering and digital cinema mastering. EFILM creates one high-resolution digital master that can be used for film output, digital cinema releases, and home video, designed to meet national and international theatrical and home video/DVD requirements.
