Procter Gamble: United States
built 425 days ago
William Procter and James Gamble were strangers brought together by several twists of fate. Procter was born in England and Gamble was born in Ireland. Both emigrated to the United States and landed in Cincinnati, Ohio. Originally, neither man intended to settle in Cincinnati. Procter stayed in Ohio to care for his critically ill wife Martha, and earned his living as a candlemaker. After his wife died, Procter consoled himself by working long hours in his candlemaking business.
Within days of making the "No Dr. Laura" announcement, Procter and Gamble declared that they would support Cincinnati's Gay Pride Parade on June 11. In their announcement P&G stated that they were only supporting their employees, not the parade itself (a distinction missed by many).

Hosts of other church leaders and evangelists have issued statements in support of Procter and Gamble in regards to this matter. Even columnist Ann Landers. Everyone who has studied the matter has come to the same conclusion, there are no truth to the lies tying P&G to Satanism. This too should speak volumes.

In 1985, unable to squelch perennial rumors linking Procter & Gamble's famous moon-and-stars logo to Satanism, the company reluctantly removed the logo from product packages. The logo began to reappear on some packages in the early 1990s, and the company continued to use the trademark on corporate stationary and on its building.
